The last Rolls-Royce Phantom of the seventh generation has now left the factory in Goodwood, England. Since the introduction of 2004 almost 7.000 copies of the luxury sedan have been built. The last model is a custom made for a collector of the brand. The Phantom with long wheelbase (6,09 meter total length) is kept in nautical style; On board there are, among other world-style clocks in yacht-style, wood inlays with motifs of historic ships and a silver-made radiator figure. For the price of the vehicle, there are no details, the basic version of the long, 338 kW / 460 PS strong Phantom costs but already converted around 493.000 Euro.
The plant in Crewe is now being converted for the production of the new Phantom VIII, which starts 2018. Visually, the limousine should remain true to their traditional appearance, technically there should be major changes. Among other things, the body should in the future consist of lightweight aluminum, the twelve-cylinder petrol is probably replaced by the smaller, but stronger version of the entry-level Ghost.
