The offer of sporty accentuated large sedans is growing. Only recently BMW has launched a dynamic version of its 760er with the M 7 Li. This example now follows as well Lexus and presents an F-Sport version of the reissue of the LS. Premiere celebrates the luxury car on the 12. April at the New York Auto Show.
So far, however, Lexus has only released a picture showing part of the rear. In addition, the Japanese promise that the LS 500 F Sport will benefit from the most rigid platform in Lexus history so far and should offer a correspondingly good handling. Nothing is yet to be said about the drive. A more powerful version of the 3,5-liter V6 gasoline engine may be used, providing 500 305 horsepower in the normal LS 415. However, it would also be conceivable that the F Sport receives the 5,0-liter V8 engine from the Sport Coupé LC 500. In the two-door LC, this unit delivers 343 kW / 467 horsepower and 527 Newton meters of torque, allowing a sprint time in under 5 seconds. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
