McLaren Automotive from Woking will soon open another chapter in the history of the LT family. A fifth vehicle is to be unveiled, the McLaren 600LT Spider. McLaren Automotive teases the new LT in a 12-second video called "The edge amplified". A part of a new green super sports car is shown there.
Does the Spider start a new longtail story?
For about three seconds, the license plate can be seen, on which the abbreviation 600LT is attached. The new McLaren 600LT could now come as a Spider version after the 2018LT Coupé presented in July 600 and become the flagship of the "Sports Series". At the rear of the Spider's carbon fiber engine cover, large-volume sports exhaust tailpipes are clearly visible.

McLaren 600 with a long tail?
After the fourth model in the Longtail series, the McLaren 600LT Coupé, the new member of the Super Series will officially see the light of day on January 16, 2019. It should be lighter, with optimized aerodynamics, limited and dynamics especially for the racetrack.
