MSO - McLaren Special Operations
The MSO team was originally set up to properly serve McLaren F1 customers. It was established in the 90s to service and upgrade McLaren F1 sports cars.
Nowadays, however, the English sports car manufacturer produces a much larger variety of vehicles. While there were only a few models, like the McLaren F1, like a few years ago, many new models have been added these days, from the MP4-12 to the 570 S and the McLaren Speedtail.
Whereas F1 customers used to be able to have their seat shells made to measure, today's production vehicles are a little different. These are often exclusive exhibits from the outset, but a little more is needed for individualisation.
