Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake: Compact estate in chic

The Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake is now available for a minimum of 29.810 Euro. The first customers will receive it in March. The station wagon variant is around 600 Euro more expensive than the four-door coupe CLA. For the market launch, the larger offshoot of the compact family is also available as a special edition OrangeArt Edition.

The OrangeArt edition of the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake can be combined with all engines and costs from 36.800 Euro. It is, depending on the equipment, recognizable from the outside and inside of orange elements. If you choose, for example, the variant AMG Line and the Night package, the Stuttgart differs by black 18-inch alloy wheels with orange rim flange and orange trim on the front and rear apron of his civilian brothers.

The interior features sports seats with leather / microfibre upholstery with contrasting stitching, a multifunction sports steering wheel and aluminum elements.

For the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake, two diesel and four petrol engines are initially available for market launch. Also all-wheel drive can be ordered. The base model CLA 180 with 90 kW / 122 PS costs 29.810 Euro. The CLA 200 with 115 kW / 156 PS as well as with the 155 kW / 211 PS of the CLA 250, the CLA 250 4Matic and the CLA 250 Sport 4Matic are all in addition. Top model is the CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake for 57.270 Euro. Its four-cylinder turbo engine with 265 kW / 360 PS should accelerate the compact in 4,7 seconds on Tempo 100.

The introduction of the diesel engines marks the CLA 200 CDI with 100 kW / 136 PS for 34.540 Euro. The CLA 220 CDI also has 2,2 liter displacement, but does 130 kW / 177 PS. Four-wheel drive is available for both units from the fourth quarter of this year.

At the end of March, the first vehicles are rolling on the German roads, thereby expanding the A, CLA and GLA-class compact car family, which according to Mercedes has already contributed to the rejuvenation of the brand. The extra charge of almost 600 Euro from the coupe to Shooting Brake is relatively low. For the larger CLS this surcharge is just under 2.000 Euro. In the C-Class, the jump from sedan to the T-model costs just 1.670 Euro.
