Mercedes V-Class Exclusive: For the excursion of the executive suite

In competition with VW for the most luxurious minibus Mercedes lays down.

Of course, a minibus is not a premium subscriber of the left motorway lane. The Mercedes V-class would like to overtake but necessarily. And the eternal adversary VW Multivan. After the presentation of the current generation of Swabia, who could finally put off the construction site charms of its predecessor Viano and the first V-class, the facelift of the VW Bus, which made him the "T6", seems rather staid and stale.

The decent interior of their shuttle upgrade the Stuttgart now on. The V-Class will soon be available as model version Exclusive. With this model, as with the lines of the car series of the same name, it is aimed at customers who do not calculate the price advantage for every extra item. Whether you decor elements in aluminum look (note the second part of the word!), Chrome ventilation vents and nappa leather really needs, is up to you. The panoramic glass roof, by the way, according to the manufacturer the largest of its kind and above all the Burmester sound system are tangible luxuries. Of course, this also applies to the 19-Zoll-Alufelgen, which rather serve the optics than the ride comfort.

The end of the flagpole? Not at all. Like the foot folk variants trend and avant-garde, the Exclusive will also be available as an edition model with further enhanced features. And why think small. In the first press release, Mercedes-Benz also gives only the price of this version. At 74.911 Euro it starts. Pretty much for a construction site bus. Oh no, that's not what the V-Class wants to be.

My bet: There is still something on top of it, the VW Multivan can also be ordered as an almost 100.000 Euro expensive business version. It would be interesting to know who in addition to the board member of our sponsored hotel chains really buys these cars.
