Mini convertible - now with sunroof function

The Mini The new generation convertible will be available from dealers from the beginning of March. With at least 21.900 euros (75 kW / 102 hp), the open four-seater is a few hundred euros more expensive than its predecessor. Then there are various improvements known from the other models, but also some convertible specifics.

Compared to the predecessor, the open Mini has grown by 3,82 meters by almost 10 centimeters in length, which also creates more space for the four passengers and luggage (maximum 250 liters). The all-electric soft top has now a sliding roof function: This allows the front section of the soft top to be retracted continuously by up to 40 centimeters.

In addition to the entry-level unit, convertible buyers can choose between three petrol engines: Cooper (100 kW / 136 hp, 23.950 euros), Cooper S (141 kW / 192 hp, 27.950 euros) and the top unit in the John Cooper Works Convertible (170 kW / 231 Hp, 33.500 euros) and two diesel engines with 85 kW / 116 hp (Cooper D, 25.900 euros) and 125 kW / 170 hp (Cooper SD, 31.600 euros). The power is always transmitted to the front wheels, as standard from a six-speed manual transmission.
