Mini Cooper Countryman Cooper SE - plug-in hybrid at the price of the top diesel

With a base price of 35.900 Euro is the Mini Countryman from mid-June as a plug-in hybrid to have. The small SUV then has an 165 kW / 224 PS strong combination of three-cylinder gasoline engine and electric motor, which together form an all-wheel drive. The purely electrical range should be at 40 kilometers, maximum in the E-mode 125 km / h are possible. The theoretical consumption according to the NEDC standard is 2,3 liters.

Visually, the Cooper SE plug-in hybrid differs from the other mini variants, including an electric emblem on the radiator grille and special 17 inch rims. In addition, due to the space requirement of the lithium-ion battery, the trunk volume shrinks by 45 to 405 liters. Within the Countryman program, the hybrid placed priced at the level of the strongest four-wheel diesel (140 kW / 190 PS), more expensive and stronger is only the sports model JCW (170 kW / 231 PS, from 38.800 Euro).
