What is going on when on the Nordschleife - our insider tips for the fans
As is well known, the Nürburgring will stand for four days ADAC Zurich 24h race on the head. The teams turn night into day and fans celebrate a huge party. There is already a lot going on here on Monday before the race. The first teams arrive and set up real camps with their caravans. The route to the route is a real experience for visitors and is often difficult to top.
The ADAC Zurich 24h race not only wants to impress the fans with their own parties, they have come up with more ideas and organize a new program every year. We've taken a closer look at this program and put together the best tips for the 24-hour race.
On Wednesday, the program really starts
Already on Wednesday, fans can expect a traditional line-up and an event that should not be missed under any circumstances. This is where fans and active participants meet on Adenauer Racing Day. On the Kirchstraße the Eifelstadt, which is to be found directly at the ring, it starts 15 clock. The participating vehicles of the 24-hour race drive in two corsos to the ring, where then take place at 16 clock public autograph sessions. In the evening, fans can expect the show programs.
Thursday and Friday outdo each other with really strong events
On Thursday, the first training sessions and night training for the 24-hour teams will finally begin for real racing fans. The night training ends here half an hour before midnight. On this day, too, fans have the opportunity to meet the teams and, above all, the drivers, because the autograph sessions will take place on Thursday at 14 p.m. on the ADAC stage in the ring ° boulevard. The driver presentations will then take place in the fan arena at 18 p.m.
The sporting highlights finally come to light on Friday, because the top 17 qualifying starts at 10: 30, but the first races are scheduled for 9: 30 in the morning, because here the last participants in the second qualifying still get once a last chance.
In addition, there are the following events on Friday:
- 20: 40 clock: opening of the pit lane
- 20: 30 o'clock: Falken Drift Show Accompaniment by the Red Bull FMX pilot show at the Müllenbachschleife
Saturday is all about racing
Saturday is, of course, entirely organized around racing. At 14, the participants line up on the start-finish straight and at 16, the starting shot for the big race is finally given.
