News: Aston Martin DB9 GT Bond Edition - The slightly different company car

Building "company cars" is not exactly a reason to show off in the car industry. Unless the notified professional driver is James Bond. Aston Martin is therefore celebrating the 50th year of cooperation with the secret agent with a special edition of his gem DB9.

Whoever pulls out the check book in the hope of ejection seat, rotating number plates and extendable machine guns can first leave the pen in the club blazer. In terms of special equipment, the two-seat coupé in the "Bond Edition" only has an exclusive silver paint finish, special 20-inch wheels and subtle 007 badges on the body.

However, the base vehicle is a special one, as the British use the new DB9 GT, the top version of the twelve-cylinder sports car launched shortly before production ended. That brings it to 402 kW / 547 hp and a top speed of 295 km / h. The "Bond Edition" also includes the precious Omega Seamaster watch and a tailor-made trolley.

Only 150 copies of the special model are to be built. The price is around 267.800 euros and is thus around 90.000 euros higher than that of the standard model with 380 kW / 517 hp.
