News: Citroen C-Zero and Peugeot Ion - price reduction for electric car duo

Peugeot and Citroen lower the price of their identical small electric cars by around 8.000 euros. Both the Ion and the C-Zero are now priced at € 17.850.

It is not yet known whether the Mitsubishi Electric Vehicle will also be cheaper. The Japanese, formerly known as Mitsubishi iMiEV, is the archetype of the technically identical trio and is currently listed on the company's website at 23.790 euros. Common to all three models is the 49 kW / 67 hp electric motor and a 16 kWh battery, which should enable a range of around 150 kilometers.

Most recently, Nissan had massively reduced the price of its electric car: by 5.200 euros to 18.590 euros plus battery rental. However, the offer is only valid until the end of September. The € 5.000 price reduction for the Renault Zoe, which is available for € 16.500 plus battery rental, was extended until the end of December.
