The Citroen sister brand wants to have an extraordinary show car DS at the Geneva Motor Show (March 3-13) to attract attention. The E-Tense, which is painted in bright metallic green, is a sports coupé with electric drive that generates 296 kW / 402 hp.
The design study is drawn wide and flat and is modeled on the front and rear as well as on the side in a very jagged way. The lack of the rear window is striking, the view behind is realized by a digital rear view mirror with the help of a camera.
DS describes the light signature as a “trademark”: the horizontal LED headlights are very narrow, two light strips extend vertically across the height of the front. The turn signals set into the upper part of the body at the rear are a tribute to the historic DS from 1955. The LED taillights are designed like scales and should set the standard for future models.
