Sending this year Chevrolet the sixth generation of its iconic Camaro on the domestic American market. Reason enough for the tuner and supercar manufacturer Hennessey from Houston, Texas, to take on the new Camaro.
Hennessey raises the performance of almost subtle 432 PS to 700 PS. The Camaro HPE 700 runs in just 3,4 seconds on Tempo 100, only 10,1 seconds are enough for 200 km / h. The 850 Newtonmeter torque provide thrust, which only comes to an end at the top speed of 320 km / h. The Camaro HPE 700 is only the basic model. With the HPE 1000, an overpotent variant with 1.015 PS will be offered in the future. For the still current models, these versions already exist.
The company US66 is the European importer of Hennessey products and adapts the muscle car to the German requirements, so that they are fully gas-tight even on German motorways. Among other things, the cooling system will be enlarged and the software optimized. In addition, parts that have been developed and manufactured in Germany will be mounted, such as a specially designed for turbocharged engines and TÜV-compliant exhaust system.
When the first new Camaro models will be available in the States, US66 will start to convert the vehicles so that the starched variants will be available in the second quarter of next year. Depending on the conversion, around 700 Euro will be due for the 30.000-PS models.
