A study that aims to appeal especially to cyclists Honda at the International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt (17 until 27 September). The Active Life Concept is based on the Civic Tourer and can not only carry two bicycles in the interior of the station wagon, but also has a special articulated arm, which facilitates the maintenance and repair of the bikes.
The wheels in the hold are easy to find because the Civic's fuel tank has been centrally located. This fits up to 1.668 liters in the compact car. In the aerodynamically designed roof box finds everything space, which is necessary for cyclists. Such as shoes or helmets.
On board the Civic Tourer Active Life Concept there is also a built-in air pump, a large lamp and a retractable sunshade on the tailgate. On the trunk side also a tool box, a bottle holder, a water tank and a front wheel bracket are attached.
The study is powered by the 1,6 liter diesel with 88 kW / 120 PS.
