News: Honda Jazz - More space made

Honda sends jazz into the third generation. While optically little changes, there are new assistants, fresh engines and more space. The price list should continue to start at around 13.000 Euro.

Externally, jazz is no longer quite as van-like as its predecessor, flatter and stretched. Also, because the length has grown by almost ten centimeters to almost four feet, three inches of which account for the wheelbase. This promises even more space in the rear - even with its predecessors, the chocolate side of the Japanese. Because the tank is traditionally not housed under the back seat in jazz, their seats can be folded up like a cinema chair to transport bulky goods in the footwell. Alternatively, the backrests can be folded, resulting in a flat loading floor in the trunk. New in generation three is also a folding backrest in the front seat, which also the transport of very long items is possible. But even in full seating, the small Honda with a luggage compartment volume of 354 liters is one of the load masters in its class.

The Japanese have also added the technology. Among other things, there is a new, Internet-enabled infotainment system, which also allows the mirroring of the smartphone screen on the touch screen in the center console, a standard city emergency braking system, collision warning, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and automatic high beam. When driving Honda is initially on a new for Europe 1,3-liter petrol engine with 75 kW / 102 PS. The four-cylinder is coupled as standard to a six-speed manual gearbox, there is a continuously variable transmission for a surcharge.
