Just recently, the Russian carmaker Lada modernized its brand logo to point to a new start. The SUV X-Ray, which is expected in Germany at the end of the year, also plays an important role here.
In order to be not only priced but also optically more interesting, Lada Steve Mattin has brought in the boat, which was formerly responsible for the design at Volvo. This has the X-Ray sweeping lines, striking folds on the sides and a modern face with a large grille missed. The technical basis of the SUV supplies the so-called B0 platform of Renault / Nissan, which is also in the Dacia Sandero.
The drive is an 1,6 liter petrol engine with 78 kW / 106 PS. If the customer chooses the same size unit with 81 kW / 110 PS, he also gets seat heating in front and air conditioning. Alternatively, there is an 1,8 liter engine with 90 kW / 122 PS to choose from.
The production of the X-Ray already started in December 2015. In February, it will be launched in Russia. Converted just under 7.000 Euro costs the entry-level model there. With us, the X-Ray will presumably priced slightly above the Dacia Sandero sort. This is currently from 6.900 Euro in the price list.
