The new GLE Coupé costs at least 66.700 Euro Mercedes from this summer to the dealers. The GLE 350 d (190 kW / 258 PS) sports seats, 20-inch wheels, a tailgate with electric opening and closing, four-wheel drive, reversing camera and crosswind assist. The significantly stronger GLE 400 (245 kW / 333 PS, 67.235 Euro) is on the list for a relatively small surcharge.
There is also a choice of three AMG variants of the large SUV. Cheapest execution is with 75.800 Euro the GLE 450 (270 kW / 367 PS), it may carry however only the additive AMG, is valid however not as AMG model in the closer sense. This sporty spearhead is made up of the GLE 63 and the GLE 63 S. The 5,5-liter eight-cylinder with 410 kW / 557 PS or 430 kW / 585 PS is used here. This force is restrained by a special high-performance brake system. A sports suspension, a sports exhaust system and AMG seats are also always on board.
The GLE Coupé competes against the successful X6, which BMW just launched in the second generation. In the base with a more powerful engine (225 kW / 306 PS) with 66.150 Euro it costs a little less. The recently supplied M model with 5,5-liter V8 has exactly ten horsepower less than the GLE 423 S with 575 kW / 63 PS.
