An SUV has Seat already announced for the coming year. At the IAA (17. To 27. September), the Spaniards are now showing the study of a crossover model. The show car, known as Leon Cross Sport, has three doors like the Leon SC and shows off-road looks like the Leon ST X-Perience.
So far, the X-Perience slush version is only available for the Leon ST compact station wagon and only with all-wheel drive. For the smaller three-door SC, a front-wheel drive variant with off-road optics could be considered. This would make the “soft roader” the trend of SUV-like vehicles.
