News: Skoda Superb Green Line - Pressed below the four-liter mark

Advertised with a theoretical range of 1.780 kilometers Skoda the new fuel saving version of the Superb. In the "Green Line" version, the mid-range model is powered by an 88 kW / 120 hp 1,6-liter diesel, which is supposed to make do with 3,7 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. Among other things, low-friction tires, an extended gear ratio and improved aerodynamics ensure the consumption advantage of 0,3 liters compared to the equally powerful standard model. Prices for the fuel-saving model available as a sedan and station wagon (tank size 66 liters each) are only mentioned by the manufacturer when the order starts in autumn. However, they should be slightly above those of the standard model and start at around 30.000 euros.
