With the study Vision S there Skoda at the Geneva Motor Show (3 to 13, March) a preview of its upcoming mid-range SUV. The 4,70 meter-long show car will accommodate up to seven people in three rows of seats. Visually, the Allrader with its sharply cut body lines and the self-confident grille on the design of the newly renewed model range to Octavia and Superb. The technology comes from the VW kit, which also uses the newly re-launched VW Tiguan. With 4,43 meters and five seats, this is one size smaller than the Czech concept car.
With the study, Skoda confirms the planned expansion of its SUV range. In addition to a new edition of the currently only Yeti model, a mid-size SUV based on the concept car is planned. The program is completed by a mini SUV below the Yeti. The SUV offensive should start in 2017 and be completed two years later. The sister brand Seat is pursuing similar plans and plans to launch a small, compact and medium-sized SUV over the next three years.
