For the 40th birthday of the Polo sets VW now a special model of the small car. The anniversary edition “Original”, which is limited to 1.000 units in Germany, comes with high-quality features and a special design. On board there are, among other things, LED headlights, reversing camera and automatic climate control, a black grille, "original" emblems on fenders and door sills and 16-inch wheels ensure an independent look. As a tribute to the original Polo, there are sports seats with black and orange checks as well as sidecars and headrests made of synthetic leather.
The price for the birthday polo starts at 19.950 euros for the version with the 66 kW90 hp petrol engine. The more powerful petrol engine with 81 kW / 110 hp is available from 21.025 euros, the two diesels with 66 kW / 90 hp and 77 kW / 105 hp cost 21.850 euros and 22.500 euros, respectively. The manufacturer gives the customer advantage over the individual purchase of the extras at 1.119 euros. The prices of the comparable standard models start at 16.175 euros.
