Honda NeuV - Stromer with a need to talk

In the near future, cars should not only drive electrically but also autonomously. A blueprint for this realistic scenario Honda In early January 2017 at the CES in Las Vegas with the mini-cube NeuV. The trick: The car even has artificial intelligence.

As befits a city mobile of the future, the NeuV is very compact. The wheels are maximally moved into the corners and so should the cubic Stromer on a small traffic area two people offer a generous amount of space. The passengers should no longer bother with traffic jams, because the NeuV will be able to drive autonomously. As the Honda is of course networked, passengers can devote themselves to other tasks in a variety of ways. Nevertheless, the study has a steering wheel so that the driver can also drive on request.

The Honda study is also blessed with artificial intelligence, which Honda calls an "emotion engine". It should enable the vehicle to have a conversation with occupants and to react to their feelings. With this, the Japanese want to create a more emotional bond between passenger and vehicle. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
