Nissan GT-R Nismo - For even better lap times

Just got started Nissan the GT-R super sports car has been lifted, now it's the Nismo version: the Japanese manufacturer is presenting the revised athlete at the Nürburgring as part of the 24 hour race. It is still powered by the 441 kW / 600 PS strong 3,8 liter V6, which is ventilated by the two turbochargers of the GT3, the six-speed dual clutch transmission takes over the power transmission. The GT-R Nismo should be able to bring its power onto the road even better.

Slalom times and cornering properties have improved by almost two percent each, Nissan promises. One reason is that the reinforced body structure of the normal GT-R allowed modifications to shock absorbers, springs and stabilizers. The active Bilstein suspension in the GT-R Nismo, for example, has specially modified shock absorbers.

For optimized handling, there is increased downforce through the carbon fiber front bumper. The redesigned front spoiler lips optimize the airflow around the vehicle, which ensures high-speed stability. According to Nissan, the downforce that the GT-R Nismo generates thanks to the modifications is higher than any other production model in the history of the Japanese manufacturer. The look is due to the larger grille, now even more martial.

In the interior, the GT-R Nismo is based on the recently lifted normal GT-R: Among other things, thanks to the large-scale use of leather, the interior should now meet higher demands. In addition to the dashboard and dashboard, the center console layout is also more contemporary, with a reduced number of buttons (from 27 to eleven) and a larger touchscreen. The leather-covered carbon bucket seats from Recaro with red Alcantara inserts are reserved exclusively for the GT-R Nismo.
