Nissan NV300 carpenter concept

Although Nissan's most recent concept car is a one-off piece with no prospect of mass production, one element of the study is set to be implemented to provide people with power in the future where there is no electricity.

At the Brussels Motor Show (18 until 27 January), Nissan will be presenting a concept car specifically tailored to the needs of a carpenter based on the NV300 vans. The unique piece, which impresses with some interesting as well as very special solutions, is to show the versatile possibilities of personally customized conversions on NV300 basis.

The largely wooden interior construction offers, among other things, shelves in which tailor-made transport boxes can be stowed. In addition, various wall brackets are available to accommodate carpenter tools within reach. In addition, there is a desk workplace in the windowless interior, which a craftsman can use to make sketches, for example.

If the craftsman needs power, he can even use a special battery pack with 700 watt-hour storage capacity, even when there is no outlet nearby. The cells for the mobile power storage, which can be charged with the help of solar panels on the vehicle roof and climate neutral, is equipped with decommissioned battery cells of a Nissan Leaf. Roam calls Nissan this equipped with household sockets and USB ports powerhouse, which incidentally in spring 2019 officially come on the market. The special interior of the NV300, however, should remain unique in this form.
