Ford is withdrawing the Ka + micro car from Europe. The brand's inexpensive entry-level model does not generate enough profit and will therefore be canceled in 2020 as part of the restructuring of the model range. Ford had already announced in the middle of the decade that it wanted to streamline its Western European model range and would increasingly focus on SUVs in the future. The Vans C-Max and Grand C-Max have already fallen victim to the strategy, the large models S-Max and Galaxy are likely to follow. The mid-range sedan Mondeo is at least facing an uncertain future.

The Tiguan competitor Kuga will be renewed in 2020 and will get a little brother with the mini crossover Puma.
