Peugeot has given its compact crossover a major overhaul. The starting price is just under 30.000 euros.
The revamped Peugeot 29.550 can now be ordered at prices from 3008 euros. The half a class larger sister model 5008 is available from 31.900 euros. The basic drive is a 96 kW / 131 PS 1,2-liter turbo gasoline engine, alternatively another petrol engine with 133 kW / 181 PS, a 96 kW / 131 PS diesel and two plug-in hybrid variants are available. The all-wheel drive version comes to 220 kW / 300 PS, the front-wheel drive version to 165 kW / 225 PS.
The redesigned crossovers can be recognized from the outside, among other things by the headlights, which now merge into the saber-toothed daytime running lights familiar from newer models such as the 508 sedan. In addition, the radiator grille now extends over almost the entire width of the vehicle and only ends below the headlights. At the rear there are new LED lights with 3D optics.
