Since its introduction in 1996, Porsche has produced over 350.000 Boxsters in four generations. So the time is ripe for a chic, spruced-up special model of the roadster.
Porsche is taking the 25th anniversary of the Boxster series as an opportunity to launch a special model called “Boxster 25 Years”, which will be available from the end of March. The edition roadster, which costs around 95.000 euros and is limited to 1.250 units, combines the 294 kW / 400 PS six-cylinder drive of the GTS 4.0 with upscale equipment and some exclusive details.
The special features include a metallic paint finish (silver, black or white) with contrasting accents in a shimmering coppery brown and 20-inch bicolor wheels. The leather interior / fabric soft top combination is also available in red or black. "Boxster 25" lettering outside and inside, electrically adjustable sports seats, the aluminum interior package, a heated sports leather steering wheel, a sports exhaust system with high-gloss tailpipes, the PASM sports suspension and a mechanical rear axle lock are further details of the gearbox with manual gearbox or, for an additional charge, with dual clutch transmission combinable anniversary version.
