Rolls Royce South America

CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös says in São Paulo that he is delighted to announce the market entry in South America. Brazil and Chile are on a strong course of economic growth, combined with increasing customer demand for luxury products. Rolls-Royce is also growing very successfully at the moment. It is therefore very important to be present on the South American continent with branches in Chile and Brazil.

The renowned Via Italia Group, led by Franciso Longo, becomes the future distributor for Brazil. Williamson Balfour Motors, a member of the Inchcape Group, represented by Peter Aberle, will be responsible for the Chilean market. Both branches will officially start operations in March 2012.

41% increase in sales

The past financial year was quite successful for Rolls-Royce. Between January and September 2011, sales increased by 41% compared to the previous year. According to Rolls-Royce, this is due to the high demand for Ghost and Phantom models.

Rolls-Royce recently announced the expansion of its Goodwood West Sussex manufacturing facility to meet strong customer demand Rolls Royce Ghosts as well as phantom models to satisfy. Around 12 million euros were invested there alone.
