Shortly before the model change is cleared up again: Skoda rearranges the drive range of the Octavia.
Skoda is painting the 1,8-liter petrol engine with 132 kW / 180 hp in the Octavia. Instead, a 140 kW / 190 hp 2,0-liter engine is now used, which can be combined with front-wheel and all-wheel drive. The power transmission is provided by a seven-speed dual clutch transmission in all cases. Prices start at 30.140 euros for the sedan, the station wagon is available for 700 euros more.
In addition, a seven-speed dual clutch transmission is now replacing the previously offered six-speed version of the 135 kW / 184 hp top diesel in the RS sport variant - both in the front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. The price list starts at 35.490 euros for the sedan.
The next generation of Skoda's compact model is expected later this year. The sedan and station wagon are then based on the MQB group kit and are intended to demonstrate self-confidence with a more concise design.
