Successful electric quarter for #BMW

The Munich car manufacturer is likely to see the figures for the first quarter with mixed feelings.

While sales of the classic models were only reported to have declined by a mild 1.5% in Q1/23 to Q1/22 worldwide - it's crunching in the China-Business with a 6.6% decline even massive.

This contrasts with the success of purely electric BMW models.

If you only look at the e-vehicles, the core brand BMW can do with one increase in sales of 112,3 percent (worldwide). This is also the sign at BMW electric.

However, the important market in China is still an innovation driver, especially in the market environment for electric models. For BMW, however, these figures also mean that the success of the brand depends on the range of electric models in China!
