SUV world premiere - waiting for the Lamborghini Urus

The Lamborghini Urus is scheduled to hit the market in the second half of 2018 at a price of just under 200.000 euros. With a twin-turbocharged V8 and 650 hp, the new Lamborhini SUV will also be available with a hybrid option, according to Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali.

Initially, the aim is to produce 1.000 Lamborghini Urus units per year. Around 2019 SUVs are expected to roll off the production line by 3.500. Lamborghini is doubling the production area and the use of new manufacturing technologies at its headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese especially for the market launch of the third series.

Lamborghini wants to build a new assembly line, a new final inspection area for all Lamborghini models and a new energy and environmentally certified office building specifically for the production of the Italian luxury SUV Urus.

A special feature of the new assembly line for the Super SUV Urus is the application of the Industry 4.0 concept: the integration of new production technologies supports the employees in the assembly work.

By the end of 2018, a new paint shop with a total area of ​​more than 10.000 m² will be commissioned specifically for painting the Urus bodies.

In just a few weeks, on December 4, 2017, 25 years after the end of production of the Lamborghini LM002, Lamborghini will present the Super SUV Urus in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
