Suzuki donated a facelift to its successful Swift model.
The new structure of the grille and the slight change to the front bumper emphasize the Success model of the Japanese, in combination with the new LED daytime running lights * on the fog lamp surround, the expressive front of the vehicle. The exterior mirrors, now with integrated side indicators *, provide a further visual accent and increased visibility in road traffic. In the interior, the revised Swift has a new design of the seat cover. Furthermore, the city runabout now convinces with a new design of the 16 ″ alloy wheels in the comfort equipment and a new design of the wheel cover in the basic and club equipment. The revised Swift is also available in the three new trend colors "Sunburst Yellow Metallic", "Bison Brown Pearl Metallic" and "Boost Blue Pearl Metallic".

Reduced consumption
The consumption and CO2 emissions of the diesel engine were able to be successfully reduced from 3 to 4 liters per 5 kilometer in the optimized gradation of the gears 4,2, 3,9 and 100 combined test cycle be reduced. After the facelift, the CO2 emissions are 101 g / km and have therefore decreased by 8 g / km. Even with the Swift 4 × 4 with a 1.2 liter petrol engine, the engineers have succeeded in further reducing consumption in urban areas. The four-wheel drive model now consumes 6,5 instead of 6,7 liters of super fuel per 100 kilometers in urban areas.
Motorization and further reductions in consumption thanks to the start-stop system
The Swift is also available with a high-revving 1,2 liter petrol engine and an economical 1,3 liter diesel engine. A start-stop system is available as standard in the Comfort equipment for both engines. The efficient 1,3 liter diesel engine delivers 55 kW (75 PS) and, thanks to the modifications including the start-stop system, only consumes 3,8 liters of diesel fuel per 100 kilometer in the combined test cycle. After the facelift including the start-stop system, the CO2 output is 98 g / km.
The four-cylinder petrol engine produces well-known 69 kW (94 PS) and comes with a front-wheel-drive 5 gearbox with a CO2 output of 116 g / km and a consumption of 5,0 liters per 100 kilometer in the combined test cycle. In combination with a start-stop system, the consumption in the "urban cycle" is reduced by another 0,3 liter per 100 kilometer. At the same time, the CO2 value is reduced to 113 g / km. The 5 door petrol engine is also optionally available with an 4 automatic transmission. For more propulsion, driving fun and safety on slippery and smooth surfaces, the 5-door petrol engine in the club equipment can also be optionally ordered with an all-wheel drive system.
Safety
In the area of security, the Suzuki Swift further standard features include the ESP electronic stability program and Isofix child seat attachments for the rear seat bench. The standard equipment for all Swift versions also includes seven airbags (including a knee airbag for the driver).
Facilities
As standard, the Suzuki Swift also has amenities such as electric power steering, power windows at the front (with the 5 door also at the rear), a foldable rear seat backrest and a multifunction display with digital clock and fuel consumption display. The Club version shines with equipment highlights such as air conditioning with a pollen filter, a height-adjustable driver's seat, a height-adjustable leather steering wheel and an MP3-compatible CD radio with steering wheel control. Building on this, the Comfort equipment leaves virtually nothing to be desired. It differs externally by fog lights, LED daytime running lights, integrated indicators in the exterior mirrors and 16 ″ alloy wheels. Inside, the top version Comfort of the Swift has the following convenience extras: Bluetooth hands-free system, privacy glass, light sensor, keyless start (keyless entry and start with starter button), seat heating, start-stop system and cruise control.
Price
The Suzuki bestseller is also impressive in terms of price. The basic equipment of the 3 door 1,2 liter petrol engine is available from 10.990 Euro. The 1,3 liter diesel convinces as a 5 door in the club equipment from 15.990 euros.
