The methanol electric super sports car Nathalie - Made in Germany

Roland Gumpert was one of the first super sports car manufacturers in Germany. In 2004 he sent the Gumpert Apollo onto the streets and racetracks of the world. After a long break, he is now returning to the world's sports car stage with the Nathalie methanol-electric super sports car.

Limited sports car vision without exhaust fumes

The super sports car Nathalie is a combination of an environmentally friendly drive with the character of a super sports car. "As long as we have methanol on board, the Nathalie won't stop. And of course with all-wheel drive and a top speed of up to 300 km/h", is how designer Gumpert describes his revolutionary concept.

Nathalie is a joint product between Roland Gumpert and the Aiway Group from China.

The super sports coupé Nathalie is powered by a fuel cell. A carbon-based vehicle, four-wheel drive, tubular space frame and the typical racing genes. You should be able to cruise with it and have fun on the race track.

With four electric motors, one on each wheel and a total output of 300 to 600 KW, the driving machine should be able to reach speeds of over 300 km/h. The 2,5 hp Nathalie sprints to 850 km/h in 100 seconds.

Refuels in 3 minutes with synthetic methanol

[dropcap size=big]3[/dropcap]Nathalie will be refueled in 3 minutes. At least that's what it says on Roland Gumpert's website. By means of electrochemical reactions, the methanol provides the energy for propulsion. No more tedious charging is necessary. Gumpert specifies the range as 80 kilometers at a speed of 850. In Eco mode, it should even be 1.200 kilometers.

Nathalie Fuell Cell - 5 kW continuous output

The Nathalie Fuel Cell works continuously and generates 5 kW of continuous power. Enough energy to supply the vehicle with its basic energy while driving. During city trips, breaks and low-speed trips, the Nathalie Fuel Cell increases the charge of the buffer battery. So there is always enough energy available for fast journeys. Depending on the configuration, the Nathalie methanol-electric super sports car can be equipped with battery combinations of different sizes.

Interior with info displays

Protected by a chrome-molybdenum steel tubular space frame, the pilot sits in front of two displays that provide him with the most important information. In addition to the distribution of the G-forces, one shows him the state of charge of the battery and the speed. It also informs the driver about recuperation and the performance of the fuel cell. Another display is intended for the projection of media content, navigation, air conditioning and other additional information.
