The new plug-in hybrid builds on the Toyota's Prius full hybrid powertrain and is designed to meet the needs of urban customers. You can externally charge the hybrid battery via any household power outlet and then drive it locally at top speeds of up to 85 km / h. With that, the Prius Plug-in Hybrid achieves 10,8 km / h in 100 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km / h.

Its distinctive silhouette combines the new Toyota Prius plug hybrid with the third generation Prius. Own headlight and backlight design give it together with silver applications on the body an independent design. Thanks to the extremely light lithium-ion battery, it weighs only 1.425 kg more than a Prius with 55 kg and also achieves the remarkable cW value of 0,25.
Already in the Life equipment (36.200 Euro), the Prius Plug-in Hybrid has seven airbags (including knee airbag for the driver) on board.
