With the new Proace Toyota introduces the telematics system "ProBusiness Fleet Telematics". Fleet managers will be happy because it will lower operating costs. With signals from the vehicle's CAN bus they receive important information. These include the vehicle location (via GPS), information on fuel consumption and mileage, there are maintenance messages, logs on official and private trips and not least a driving style analysis to promote an economical driving style.
The services are provided by Toyota Insurance Management via a portal for small and medium-sized companies. The raw data can also be processed individually by large fleets and are available for PC, tablet and smartphone.
ProBusiness Fleet Telematics should be the scare for all those who travel on business trips just a little trip to the girlfriend or other detours. Every meter driven is traceable, every acceleration and deceleration process recorded.
