Vinfast VF 8 and VF 9

Vinfast from Vietnam wants to launch two electric SUVs in Germany this year. Reservations are already possible and save a few euros.

The Vietnamese automaker Vinfast starts in the second half of the year with two Electric SUV in Germany. The VF 8 and VF 9 models can be pre-ordered on the company's German website.

What engines does Vinfast have?

The 43.900 meter long VF 4,75 costs 8 euros, for the seven-seater and 5,12 meter long VF 9 it is 58.650 euros. The prices refer to so-called Eco versions, which have a 260 kW/354 hp electric drive. Alternatively, there should also be a plus version with 300 kW/408 hp. The WLTP ranges of the two electric SUVs are given as 504 and 550 kilometers, respectively. The purchase price does not include the battery. Instead, it has to be subscribed to by the user, which incurs additional costs.

Those who reserve a VF 150 or VF 8 by the beginning of April for EUR 9 will benefit from credits of EUR 2.500 or EUR 4.200 respectively, as well as a mobile charger and an invitation to an unspecified “luxury stay” in Vietnam.
