VLN 1: BMW M235i Cup - The result

The Cup5 class is still the strongest CUP class in the races for the Endurance Cup at the Nürburgring. With 19 registered starters, VLN 1 also entered the first race weekend with an exciting field.

The winner of the Cup 5 was Bonk Motorsport's #691 team. With a total of 25 laps and a top round of 9: 13.525 and Rennglück, they finally prevailed against Team Schirmer with the starter Stefan van Campenhoudt. Alexander Mies and Michael Schreyer shared the steering wheel on the winning car.

At 3 the Walkenhorst BMW M235i entered the finish line. Here at the wheel the Brit Tom Blomqvist. The Cup receives special excitement through the equal opportunities. The teams start on identical BMW M235i and are all equipped with identical tires by the tire manufacturer DUNLOP. And so after about 4 hours of race time, all vehicles within a lap difference in the finish.

Incidentally, the only breakdown in the CUP5 class was suffered by the AVIA racing #680 team.
