An early best time of 8:19; 068 and rain set in for the first pole position of the future GT3 racer still starting in the SP-X. In the class of the SP9 start times under 8:00 minutes are possible. The pole position was therefore a great success for the team, but not a record lap.

About the Lexus RC-F GT3:

More than two years of development work went into the 1.250 kg concept vehicle, whose V8 engine produces around 540 hp.

The Lexus RC F GT3 will start in 2015 in the prototype class SPX. Both Lexus and Farnbacher Racing are hoping for the best possible opportunities for further development, since the vehicle can be tested under racing conditions by being used in the VLN. The aim is to gather as much experience as possible this year and to prepare the Lexus for 2016 through constant further development.

The Farnbacher Racing Lexus RC F GT3 is piloted by the two brothers Dominik and Mario Farnbacher. In addition to his work as a driver, Dominik Farnbacher will also take over team management together with his father Horst. In addition to his assignments in the VLN, Mario Farnbacher continues to devote himself to the TUDOR United Sportscar Championship, in which he competes for the Alex Job Racing / Team Seattle team in a Porsche 911 GT America.

Dominik Farnbacher: "As a long-standing Toyota partner, we are pleased about the trust the automobile manufacturer has in us and our first assignment with the Lexus RC F GT3 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife this weekend."
