The freshly lifted is now VW Golf can also be ordered with the completely new petrol engine 1.5 TSI Evo. The basic price for the standard Golf available from the medium Comfortline equipment line is 24.350 Euro, the Variant 1.5 TSI costs at least 26.400 Euro.
Thanks to variable cylinder deactivation (ACT) and common rail direct injection, among other things, the turbo unit should be powerful and efficient at the same time. In combination with the manual six-speed manual transmission, the four-cylinder engine delivering 110 kW / 150 PS and 250 Newtonmeter accelerates the Golf to just 8 in just over 100 seconds, with a maximum of 216 km / h possible. VW specifies the consumption with five liters. The seven-stage dual clutch transmission is available for an additional 2.000 euro. With the same mileage, it reduces consumption to 4,9 liters.
From the middle of the year, VW will also be offering the 1.5 TSI Evo in a weaker version with 96 kW / 130 PS. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
