The revised version is now available at the unchanged base price of 17.850 Euro VW Golf can be ordered. An infotainment system with a color display and LED taillights are included for the first time as standard. The entry-level model is powered by a new 1,0 liter petrol engine with 63 kW / 85 PS.
In particular, the infotainment and assistants have been modernized for the optically slightly lifted Golf. Among other things, there is now a digital instrument cluster, gesture control for navigation systems, etc. and a traffic jam assistant for semi-autonomous driving. A new addition to the engine range is a 1,5-liter turbo petrol engine with 110 kW / 150 hp, which replaces the previous 1,4-liter turbo. The other petrol engines range between 85 kW / 115 hp and 132 kW / 180 hp, the diesel engines range between 66 kW / 90 hp and 135 kW / 184 hp. In addition, there is the plug-in hybrid GTE with an electrical range of around 50 kilometers - and the E-Golf: after the update, it now has an output of 100 kW / 136 hp and a range of around 300 kilometers.
