Winter drift training from Subaru

The winter trainings with Subaru are entering a new season. Once again the super athlete WRX STI in the new model generation the focus of activities on snow and ice. In the winter 2014 / 2015 the Japanese all-wheel specialist offers winter drift training at the Austrian Lungauring. Conception and realization of the events are in the hands of Werner Gusenbauer, the winner of the Hockenheim Drift Challenge and the international German Drifting Championship.

The WRX STI with its typically low center of gravity for the Subaru - made possible by its boxer engine - and the optimal weight distribution offer perfect conditions for dynamic driving fun on ice and snow. As far as the chassis is concerned, the Subaru "Symmetrical AWD" all-wheel drive represents a unique type of power transmission to the road surface. This ensures that the vehicle is significantly more manageable in unstable driving conditions, especially when driving at the limit - like when drifting. For training, there is a 500 × 80 meter ice dynamic area on the lunguring ring as well as a 1,6 kilometer handling course with all elements of rallying. This is driven in six variants and finished with professional drifts.

Drivers who have already completed sports car or drift trainings can use this specially developed offer to perfect drifting with a powerful four-wheel drive vehicle and the driving dynamics on ice and snow. Fixed daily appointments are in the period of 9. January 2015 to 15. February 2015 scheduled. The price for participation is 749 Euro per person from Monday to Thursday and 799 Euro from Friday to Sunday. Per day the number of participants is limited to 12 persons.
