World premiere of the Mercedes-Benz GLC | Live stream

Next Wednesday (June 17th) Mercedes-Benz will present the facelift version of the Mercedes-Benz GLK. (Addendum: We do not yet know the technical data of the GLC (wheelbase, track width, etc.) of the GLC and are therefore currently assuming an extensive facelift rather than a completely new design) In addition to the extensive cosmetic make-up and probably a lot of new ones Assistance systems (known from the C-Class, S-Class, E-Class) Mercedes-Benz also swapped the name with the “big Mopf”. GLK is being relegated to the sidelines of automobile history and with GLC the customer is shown that the vehicle class belongs to the “C-Class” model range. Just as the GLE recently replaced the ML and the “E” at the end demonstrates its class affiliation with the E-Class.

And guess what the GL is called in autumn?

The livestream for the presentation:

With the new GLC, Mercedes-Benz is presenting the second generation of its mid-size SUV on June 17 in Metzingen. The off-road properties of the mid-size SUV are still outstanding, but visually the GLC clearly sets itself apart from the design language of its predecessor. But there are not only differences in terms of design: comfort and agility are also raised to a new level. This is ensured by the unique AIR BODY CONTROL multi-chamber air suspension in combination with the dynamic driving range DYNAMIC SELECT and the permanent 4MATIC all-wheel drive. State-of-the-art assistance systems and excellent energy efficiency complete the GLC's claim to set a benchmark in its segment. Compared to the predecessor, consumption was reduced by up to 19%.
