The price of 23.150 Euro is now the Hyundai to have i30 Turbo. The new top version of the compact is powered by an 137 kW / 186 PS strong 1,6 liter turbo gasoline engine that delivers a torque of 265 Nm. Equipped with a manual six-speed gearbox, it sprints from zero to 100 in eight seconds, and the top speed is 219 km / h. The direct injection is available for the “coupé” three-door and for the five-door. The latter is available from 23.850 euros. The equipment includes Xenon headlights, two-zone automatic climate control and sports seats. There are also 18 inch rims and a sports suspension.
The new Turbo variant is by far the strongest i30. So far, the petrol range ended with an 99 kW / 135 PS strong 1,6 liter vacuum cleaner. Nevertheless, the Hyundai takes a half step back compared to the sister model Kia Ceed GT. This has the same basic engine on 150 kW / 204 PS - and thus moves closer to the at least 162 kW / 220 PS rival VW Golf GTI.
