24 hours with Tim Schrick

A great news came in the days as a press release:

Tim Schrick will start as a member of the Subaru team for the first time in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring from May 14th to 17th, 2015. The 39-year-old racing driver and television presenter made his debut in the Eifel classic in 2003. Last year Schrick took 37th place in the overall standings with a Cup vehicle and was able to record a sovereign class win.

Very nice. I am glad. The 24h race is always a highlight of the year for me anyway and after my trip with it Subaru WRX STI last year - it went from the Nürburgring to the Col de Turini - the WRX STI was also one of my top four-wheelers. I also like the SUBARU brand in itself. Their consistent implementation of their own conviction, in the case of SUBARU it is the boxer engine and permanent all-wheel drive, is simply brave. As a blogger - who you are - you always have to go your own way consistently - this may lead to a common “mindsetting”. No matter - so I keep my fingers crossed for Tim Schrick for the 24h race in 2015!

And here an article about the new SUBARU Outback will appear shortly. And you will probably notice in the article how ingenious I find the connection between “real” all-wheel drive and boxer engine ... 😉
