The start of the legendary 24-Stunden race at the Nürburgring is on Saturday the 21. June at 16: 00h, the whole Motorsport Volksfest starts much earlier. The official starting signal for the 24h race is the Adenauer Racing Day on Wednesday (18.Juni) from 16: 00 in the center of Adenau. A good chance for the fans to get close to the cars and the racers. Before it goes around properly on the weekend!

The 42. Edition of the ADAC Zurich 24h race will be a hammer!

175 vehicles - around three dozen of them alone in the overall top-class qualifiers - are allowed to race. Without exception, everything that has rank and name on the Nordschleife romped among them.

As many as eight brands will compete in the potential winner categories this year. Black Falcon is allowed to stick on one of his Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 the start number 1 of the previous year's winner and thus leads the Gullwing Group, which includes, for example, ROWE and HTP. The top dogs also include the factory ones Audi R8 LMS ultraused by the Phoenix, Prosperia C. Abt and Audi Race experience teams. With Schubert and Marc VDS, two extremely strong BMW factory teams named, which are flanked by other BMW Z4 GT3s. Aston Martin, Nissan, Toyota and Lexus, Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari are represented by strong private teams.

The view into the cockpits shows that tension is programmed this year. The entire elite of the Nordschleife experts is gathered, many former 24h and VLN winners, old hands and newcomers plunge into the action. Among the most prominent pilots include Stratospheric jumper Felix Baumgartner, the former Formula 1 driver Nick Heidfeld, Rapper "Smudo" and ex-motorcycle ace Alex Hofmann.
