When the Frenchman talks about Faubourg, he talks about the suburbs. And now I try in a philosophical treatise on a video clip that reached me today.
Citroën introduces a new design line, not just any, but a particularly noble one:
Faubourge Addict DS Line
Faubourge = the suburb, French. Addict = Dependent, English. And the DS line, there I was at the test of DS5 Hybrid4 already sure, is the most beautiful shape and, in my opinion, the one that best fits the core of the brand - for a current Citroën. DS doesn't just stand for equipment, but for a model range. That may still be understood. Urban lifestyle, modern life, industrialization and such. In the video clip, however, sings an English female voice (That must hurt the heart of the Grande Nation) about the “Taste of Luxury”. In the picture the DS models on the princely gravel path of a magnificent villa. No people. Just the cars. plus groovy rock music.
And then it ends for me. I do not get it. Sorry - no, I understand the clip - not. So the meaning, the message. The content. I do not understand him.
