Toyota enters the car sharing business. Under the Kinto Share brand, the automobile manufacturer is initially offering small cars for short-term use in Cologne. Unlike free-floating providers, the Yaris Hybrid cars are assigned to fixed stations where they are picked up and returned. The journey is booked and paid for using the app, and bills are made in minutes or days. Insurance and fuel is included. The offer, initially limited to one base, is to be expanded in the future; in addition to additional stations, other vehicle models are also to be added to the range.
