X200 is the name of the second outlook on Ssangyongs future design language. The Koreans want to position themselves much more strongly.
The Korean Car maker Ssangyong plans a significant change of course in terms of design and product identity. The new brand philosophy “Powered by Toughness” outwardly focuses, among other things, on robustness, as has recently been published sketches of a new one SUVClarify generation under the working title X200. The pictures show a robust four-wheel drive that does not seem to scare away any challenges, at least visually. Although it is a modern design, the design also builds several bridges to earlier Korando series of the 80s and 90s. And as with those, the sketches of the X200 also suggest a variable roof, among other things.
The X200 is the second lookout at Ssangyong's new design philosophy. As early as June, sketches showed a larger, all-electric SUV model called the J100, which is due to hit the market in 2022.
