Audi E-Tron GT – Electric Gran Turismo from Ingolstadt

Audi plans to launch an electric SUV by the end of this year. It should continue with the premium segment, a chic, purely electrically powered Gran Turismo is planned. Of course with all-wheel drive and space for five people. Despite the electric drive, Audi wants to offer its customers a long-distance range with the E-Tron GT. At fast charging stations, the electric Gran Turismo should be ready to continue driving in 30 minutes.

The E-Tron GT is scheduled to go into series production in early 2020. Audi is aiming for a price of around 80.000 euros. The first teaser image from Audi, which also went through the social media, shows a very sporty design and large rims.

According to its CEO Rupert Stadler, Audi wants to save ten billion euros in the development of combustion engine models by 2022. Instead, the money should flow into the development of electric cars.
