Automotive apps are trendy. The automobile manufacturers use the smartphone applications so that the customers can deal even more intensively with the object of automotive desire. So now also Bentley. After the introduction of the new Bentley Flying Spur, the British launched an augmented reality app.
Virtual luxury and performance equipment
The new Bentley Flying Spur will be available to customers in the first quarter of 2020. To shorten the waiting time, customers and Bentley fans can now use an app to drive and discover their luxury car in advance.
If you start the app, there are two pre-installed versions of the Bentley Flying Spur, luxury and performance. The “Luxury” specification is a Meteor exterior with an interior of Brunel and Linen hides.
In contrast, the “Performance” specification has an Extreme Silver exterior with Beluga leather accented by Hotspur stitching. Both configurations present the Mulliner Driving Specification. The Rear Seat Entertainment, the Bentley Rotating Display and the new Flying B mascot are also presented virtually in the app.
Bentley Augmented Reality App - Simulation of reality
The application uses the latest augmented reality technologies and is among the most advanced in the automotive industry, according to Bentley. Not only can users select multiple specifications. You can also resize the vehicle, place it on the home tabletop, or scale it to a full-size simulation.
Get in and drive off
Bentley's AR Visualizer is currently technologically perfected to the point where users can take their virtual Flying Spur on an augmented reality test drive. This means that the grand touring limousine can be experienced live from the cozy living room and explored virtually before the first tour.
